A Catholic College...upholding Catholicism? A shame that it's news!

I have never heard of Stonehill College before, but I am extremely happy with the place right now. It is a self-described Catholic College, and it should be lauded for a recent firm stance adhering to that Catholicism.

You see, the Catholic College has a right to mandate these rules and live up to them because:

A.) It is a private School.

and

B.) It is a CATHOLIC College.

Not only does it have the right to do these things; indeed, it has the obligation to do them.

Ms. Freitas thought people should be given free condoms, and the school had a problem with that. Furthermore, the spokesman of the College, Martin McGovern, says the College would be willing to take further action, if she persists:

Freitas said she will continue to hang a bag of condoms on her dormitory door, although McGovern warned otherwise.

"She has taken a position that differs from college policy," he said. "I would hope she would remove them."
Hmmm. A Catholic College standing up for Catholic beliefs and threatening expulsion if those Catholic beliefs are tarnished by students ...

Thank you sir, may I have another?!
