Soon to be Hummer of China

Sold. To China.

Really.

GUANGZHOU, China — General Motors has reached a preliminary agreement for the sale of its Hummer brand of large sport utility vehicles and pickup trucks to a machinery company in western China with ambitions to become a car maker, a person familiar with the Chinese government approval process said Tuesday.
Since most large businesses in China are owned in whole or in part by government agents, doesn't it stand to reason that one of the more emblematic American military vehicles will now be in the service of a foreign government that considers us a potential adversary.

And who is in charge of GM right now?

That's right. President Obama and his hand-picked brain trust of Soggy Bottom Boys from Yale.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.
