Provocative?

The North Koreans have fired four missiles today from various points in their little piss-ant country.

An anonymous U.S. official, quoted by CNN, calls the launches "provocative."

Oh, please!

Words mean things. Provocative is when the missiles are actually aimed at something, like the threat of a long-range missile at Hawaii on the 4th of July.

That would be a provocation, sure. Especially since we think the Norks have enough nuclear material for maybe one good bomb.

But the missiles they are firing now are about as provocative as this babushka.
