Clueless & classless tribute?

In case you have not seen it elsewhere in the Blogosphere, here is the proposed design for the memorial of those who died on Flight 93 in Pennsylvania:


Why is it any more than anytime Americans try to remember those whose lives were lost to treachery, that bizarre "blame America first" artists try to hijack the effort?

This muddled, tasteless offering is called "The Crescent of Embrace." It looks very much like the well-known trademark of Islam, the star and crescent moon.

Don't particularly think the guys who responded to "Let's roll!" and who took out Flight 93 before the terrorist hijackers had a chance to plow the aircraft into the White House or the Capitol building would much care for this design.

This is not an attempt to honor their memory. It's more like spitting on their graves.
