Confirmation: Unemployment Numbers 'Improved'

Suspicions were correct. After going through the numbers, the federal government included 66,000 "hires" to make sure that the unemployment picture "improved" for April. Private sector unemployment rose by 611,000, and it will be adjusted upward next month.

Most of these are census workers who won't actually make money until the census begins.

There is a scientific term for this, if I can remember it. Oh, yes.
