G-20 to give $1 trillion to IMF, World Bank

LONDON (AP) - Prime Minister Gordon Brown says leaders at the G-20 summit have agreed to give $1 trillion to the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank to help struggling nations around the world.

Brown also says the 20 countries at the summit will enact common policies to crack down on tax havens, regulate hedge funds, and rebuild trust in the financial system to "prevent a crisis such as this from happening again."

Mark my words: There is nothing to be joyful about in this laundry list of "common policies," today's exuberant Wall Street response notwithstanding. The "new world order" these mighty titans of finance and world politicians are shaping will do nothing to keep the common man free, and will not guarantee a greater crisis.

Hell, these people love crises! It's their opportunity to clamp additional controls on the people of the world.

Are you ready to live under global government?

If Tim Geithner's slip-up on being open-minded to a one-world reserve currency wasn't enough to convince you that we have turned off on the road to hell, consider the implications of a 16-page "note" being circulated by the United Nations to those who will attend a "mammoth negotiating session" on global climate change in Bonn, Germany, next week.

A United Nations document on "climate change" that will be distributed to a major environmental conclave next week envisions a huge reordering of the world economy, likely involving trillions of dollars in wealth transfer, millions of job losses and gains, new taxes, industrial relocations, new tariffs and subsidies, and complicated payments for greenhouse gas abatement schemes and carbon taxes — all under the supervision of the world body.

Those and other results are blandly discussed in a discretely worded United Nations "information note" on potential consequences of the measures that industrialized countries will likely have to take to implement the Copenhagen Accord, the successor to the Kyoto Treaty, after it is negotiated and signed by December 2009. The Obama administration has said it supports the treaty process if, in the words of a U.S. State Department spokesman, it can come up with an "effective framework" for dealing with global warming.

The 16-page note, obtained by FOX News, will be distributed to participants at a mammoth negotiating session that starts on March 29 in Bonn, Germany, the first of three sessions intended to hammer out the actual commitments involved in the new deal.

Consider the points:

1. Trillions of dollars in wealth transfers. You don't transfer wealth from poor countries to rich countries. That means we are the targets of this U.N. scheme.

2. Millions of job losses, and gains. Who loses and who gains? See point No. 1.

3. New taxes (see point No.1).

4. Industrial relocations (see point No.2)

5. New tariffs and subsidies and complicated payments for greenhouse gas abatement schemes and carbon taxes under the supervision of the world body (U.N.)

All of this openly discussed in a memo we weren't supposed to know about.

There is nothing in the United States Constitution that would permit our Congress or President, or any group acting in their name, to agree to this. Even if man-made global climate change were real -- and it isn't -- we would have to amend the Constitution in order to surrender our sovereign rights, and most Americans would say no to this.

Please, people, wake up! The world-wide socialist movement is hiding itself in the environmental revolution, no longer "red" but "green." Don't let them enslave you in exchange for false security for a threat that does not exist.

Henry the Horse Still Waltzing

With apologies to the Beatles, I refer to Henry Kissinger who in a recent interview said that Barack Obama has an excellent chance to establish a new world order. This according to Drew Zahn, writing at World Net Daily. The video interview is also posted.

"The president-elect is coming into office at a moment when there is upheaval in many parts of the world simultaneously," Kissinger responded. "You have India, Pakistan; you have the jihadist movement. So he can't really say there is one problem, that it's the most important one. But he can give new impetus to American foreign policy partly because the reception of him is so extraordinary around the world. His task will be to develop an overall strategy for America in this period when, really, a new world order can be created. It's a great opportunity, it isn't just a crisis."

Echoes of Rahm Emmanuel, Obama's incoming Chief of Staff, who said that every crisis presents an opportunity to advance an agenda.

The concept of a New World Order has been around since at least 1840 - that's 169 years - when H.G. Wells "used it as a title of a book describing a socialist, unified, one-world government." It has been associated, says Zahn, with several U.S. presidents including George H.W. Bush who, before a joint session of Congress in 1989, said this:

"A new partnership of nations has begun, and we stand today at a unique and extraordinary moment," said Bush before a joint session of Congress. "Out of these troubled times, our fifth objective – a new world order – can emerge: A new era … in which the nations of the world, east and west, north and south, can prosper and live in harmony."

Kissinger's affection for a New World Order have long been known, and he's been around since the Nixon era, dispensing advice, heading up commissions and running international errands. He's a Bilderberg'er (read the article if you want details). He's still waltzing the one-world matilda.

You don't have to believe in the fire of an elite conspiracy to engineer the world's economic and political systems a certain way, but you have to admit that there certainly is a lot of smoke.

As an American who believes in individual freedom, the Constitution, and the inalienable God-given rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (which includes property), I believe that first and foremost the citizens of the U.S. must protect our freedoms from encroachment from the world (and from enemies among us who would sell us out), before we spend a dime or a minute worrying about how to stabilize the globe. If there is to be a New World Order, let the rest of the world adopt our Constitution and emulate us.
