We're voting 'No' tomorrow

For what it's worth, the Oklahomilist and the other voter-eligible members of the household will be marching to the polls tomorrow to send a clear signal that we do not want more gasoline taxes in the Sooner state.

At least not right now. Maybe never.

Our reasoning?

SQ 723 is fatally flawed in that it will cause more harm than good in the future.

The campaign to pass SQ 723 has relied on distortions and half-truths.

Besides, what has Barry Switzer done for us lately?

Gasoline is expensive enough as it is.

The Oklahoma Legislature should not be rewarded for ignoring road-building and repair needs.

And these are just for starters.
