An Easy Way to Dishonor Mom

Mother's Day is coming quickly.

Here's a singularly bad idea of how to dishonor your mother or your wife: Give a donation in her name to Planned Parenthood.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Famous children's author Judy Blume is no stranger to controversy, but she's added to herself to a list of people who will be remembered for something more devastating. Blume is lending her name to the solicitation of donations for Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion business.

In a new missive ironically celebrating Mothers Day, Blume suggests sending a donation to the pro-abortion group to honor mothers.

"Say thanks this Mother's Day with a gift that honors her courage by making a donation to Planned Parenthood in her name. I guarantee you that she'll be pleased. I know I would be,' Blume writes.

"There is no organization that I know of that supports motherhood and all that it means more than Planned Parenthood. That's why I'm honoring moms everywhere with my gift to Planned Parenthood today," Blume adds.

Supports motherhood?

Isaiah warns us: "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil, who change darkness into light, and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet, and sweet into bitter!" (5:20)

Whoa! What woe?

"Therefore, as the tongue of fire licks up stubble, as dry grass shrivels in the flame, Even so their root shall become rotten and their blossom scatter like dust; For they have spurned the law of the LORD of hosts, and scorned the word of the Holy One of Israel. Therefore the wrath of the LORD blazes against his people, he raises his hand to strike them; When the mountains quake, their corpses shall be like refuse in the streets. For all this, his wrath is not turned back, and his hand is still outstretched. He will give a signal to a far-off nation, and whistle to them from the ends of the earth; speedily and promptly will they come. ..." (5: 24-26)

Blume's suggestion is as bad as the "Happy Abortion" cards Planned Parenthood was shilling a year or so back. It is a mockery of all that is holy.
