Rocky's back & this time he's old

Don't know whether to laugh or cry, cheer or boo.

Rocky is coming back for Round Six. At age 60.

Maybe Stallone (ala Clint Eastwood) plans to have America's hero nearly killed in the ring, lying nearly brain dead in a hospital bed, begging Adrian to pull the plug. ("Yo, Adrian. You gotta do it for me, just this once.") Then you must visualize an apparitional Mickey hovering over the whole affair, sweetly admonishing Rocky, in that Burgess Meredith voice (sampled, of necessity, from past movies):

"Get up, you lazy bastard. You're a bum, and that's all you'll ever be is a bum."

Maybe the plug should be pulled on the franchise instead.
