When they say collision course ...

... surely they didn't mean that another Cardinal player would be lost to injury this year. Abraham Nunez, the guy who stepped up to fill in for All Star third baseman Scott Rolen, is now questionable for further post-season play after colliding with Astro's Nathan Lane on a play that allowed what became the decisive run to score.

And, of course, one of those "decisive" four runs of the Astros was a 2-run homer into that ridiculous rinky-dink left field porch.

Now trailing 2 games to 1, the Cardinals need to come up with some answers or they, like Boston, will be duck hunting sooner rather than later. Some of us Cardinal fans would rather have a ballpark hotdog than a roast duck.

C'mon guys, it's a long off season.
