Point-Counterpoint, But Really on Same Page

Former president Bill Clinton is giving Dubai advice on how to save its ports deal in the United States.

His wife, Hillary Clinton, is badmouthing the deal in the U.S. Senate and threatening to file legislation to block it.

A spokesman for Bill says he's just doing what's expected of him, sort of like an elder statesman, but he really supports Hillary in the matter. But it wasn't that long ago that Mr. Bill was paid $300,000 to speak in Dubai where he unleashed a broadside against the Bush administration for the Iraq war and how it handles Arab issues.

Triangulation?

Since when is there not when dealing with the Clinton's, who are oh so clever at this sort of thing?

Here's a report. Read it, and decide for yourself, but keep this thought in the back of your mind: Does the country need another 4 or 8 years of this sort of scheming and preening?
