As a New York cabbie once remarked ...

"What an asshole!"

The United States made a "big mistake" when it invaded Iraq, former President Bill Clinton said Wednesday, citing the lack of planning for what would happen after dictator Saddam Hussein was overthrown.

"Saddam is gone. It's a good thing, but I don't agree with what was done, " Clinton told students at the American University of Dubai.

"It was a big mistake. The American government made several errors ... one of which is how easy it would be to get rid of Saddam and how hard it would be to unite the country."

The Clintons are touring the Middle East, Hillary to prove that she's a conservative, and Bill? Well, probably only to help "triangulate" the moonbat left so that they eventually warm up to a Hillary presidency. (More babe opportunities in the White House, you know, even as the first male "First Lady." After all, he was the first white "black president.")

Hillary -- the true liberal -- talks tough to woo the moderates and pick off a few conservatives. Bill -- who is probably as apolitical as he seems amoral -- repeats the lefty talking points. It's the reverse of the presidential tango of 1991-1992 but it's the same "don't stop thinking about tomorrow" tune.

We would strongly advise thinking less of their tomorrow and more about their yesterdays. A third Clinton administration would be a national disaster from which we might never recover.
